Garrett AT Pro not detecting?

Everything works including the display on the metal detector, except the fact that it won't detect any metal. The detector won't beep and the VDI doesn't move. I tried swapping coils and it still doesn't work. I haven't observed any damage to the detector. I have had it for about 3 years. Last time I used it was about 1.5 weeks ago and I put new batteries in today. Nothing seems to work. Only thing I haven't tried is resetting the detector, which I don't know how to do. Any Ideas?

Hold your mode key down for 5 seconds and when you hear two beeps it has been factory reset.

Make sure your coil wire to the box and to the coil are tight unscrew them and clean the pins. Try Factory reset Ill tell you if you call Kellyco or Garrett and speak with a service tech they are really cool and helpful.

Did you try new batteries

What they said. Lots of times it's the batteries not making contact or the connector between the coil and the machine. Let us know how it works.

Nope, nothing worked. I guess I'm gonna have to give Garrett a call.
