Garrett Euro Ace problems...

We bought a new Garrett Euro Ace/350 and we have a question...
Is it normal for detectors to scream when coil touches the ground?

Try lowering your sensitivity.

yes thats a coil overload. maybe sens or ground balance?

sensitivity is always in the middle...its weird i had the same problem with discovery 2000...euro ace is new i got it 2 days ago from the store...sorry guys for questions all the time..but im new to metal detecting and detectors

No problem! does it do it where ever you set it down? inside, outside, holding up in the air?

Yes it does.

you might want to try different batteries.

I'm not familiar with the machine but can any of the batteries be mounted backwards?

I found my 350 works best with lithium batteries.

Make sure you reset the unit after you install the new batteries. That was from Garrett.
