I recently purchased a Garrett GTI 2500, great detector finding all kinds of stuff, form modern pocket change to coins from the 1700's. Love the detector, but I find that it is often beeping at light iron junk for the first couple passes and classifying it as copper or silver, then after using the pin pointing feature it realizes and reclassifies the metal correctly (as junk), I also have been getting alot of faulty tones and beeps. Is the frequency adjustment the feature i want to adjust to eliminate the faulty tones?? If so how do i know if i should go up or down on the frequency level like 1-10 stock setting is 5
? any help or advice would be great.
Thanks
