Dear Friends,

I have a Garrett GTP-1350 which has become stuck in "Pinpointer" mode. Of all the buttons on the control head, only the "PINPOINT (Coin Depth) Profiling" button does not click when pressed, so I am assuming it is faulty. I have disassembled the control head. (I have worked with electronics for many years) and there seems to be no way to replace just that switch. In fact, the plastic laminate is glued hard onto the green control head.

Has anybody else had this problem? Does Garrett sell just the control head cover with the switches?

Or perhaps somebody here has a defunct unit they might sell the control head faceplate?

Because I am in Mexico, and would have import/export issues to deal with, I prefer not to send it to Texas.

Thanks in advance!

Update: I sent an email to Garrett this afternoon. Hopefully they will get back to me.
