A week ago I dropped my five year old Garrett at pin-pointer on asphalt and it quit working called Garrett got a ra number and sent it in got a call today on a cost to repair it the case was cracked and the coil damage and the on off button needed replacement the total including shipping was $44.00 I didn’t think that was bad at all as I have had other little things go wrong with my detector and they asked me if I wanted to send it in as warranty or fix it my self and offered to talk me through it if I had problems with the instructions they sent just my two cents on Garrett customer service
