Garrett PPro-Pointer issues

After taking my pro-pointer out of storage, it stays on (light and audible) after pushing the push button. It has hardly been used. Is it the battery?

Try changing the battery, some of them have wire issues bad insulation, mine did.

Battery or Possibly the Rubber cover over the on Button is sticking .

Wont hurt to Try a New Battery
