Garrett pro pointer

I ordered a Garrett pro-pointer online bout a week ago, just got an email saying they are out of stock, be another 10 days then it will be shipped. So I called & cancelled my order & ran down to Powers who sells detectors & bought one! When I 1st started detecting 5 years ago I went in & bought a Bullseye, was looking at the diggin tools. The guy tried to tell me I had to have a $60 Lesche, I laughed at him. He was the motivation for me to fabricate a diggin tool. So when I went in today I brought one of my tools to show him & he was impressed, wants me to make 3 or 4 for him to sell. I told him we can work out a deal & trade some stuff for the diggin tools. My girl wants a Garrett now so I'll trade him a few tools for one & give it to her. Been a good day so far, got the day off, got a Pro-pointer & now Im goin to go dig some holes! Hope y'all have as good a day as Im havin! 8)

I see you finally got a Garrett pro pointer, way to go. WHy not just make your own pointer? I use an old railroad spike, wrapped with a coil of copper wire attached to a large 9V battery.. Oh wait, that is my electromagnet, I'll get back to you on that pointer thingamajig.
