Garrett Scorpion Gold Stinger

I am thinking about buying a Garrett Scorpion Gold Stinger for gold nugget hunting. Any comments about this unit? Any other suggestions for a $400-$000 gold detector?

Thanks for the great advice. I am now looking at a Gold Bug2. What do you think of it, and which White detector is better for gold, under $600?

Had a Gold Stinger for a couple of years and my advice is, if you want to prospect, look at another brand or get an Infinium which IS a top notch gold detector though, like any current PI, it's not the best for really tiny stuff. ..Willy.
