Found this little gem on I think my fourth dig at the beach this morning. It's a little over two grams and I believe it's 18 karat gold. The markings on the inside of the Ring are wore off but the acid test solution shows a really slow dissolve on the 18 karat gold but an almost immediate dissolve on the 14. So it's somewhere between 14 and 18, I'm going to guess closer to 18. either way, glad I went to the beach today even though I only got $0. 80 and change I'll take the gold ring.
