Garrett Treasure Ace 300 Question

Is the Garrett Treasure Ace 300 like new condition worth $100? I have the chance to get one, as a back up to my White's. Looks brand new, owner only used it a couple times and got bored with it, as they did not understand it. Any help is appreciated.

I have read other places online that the older Treasure Ace series, including the 300, had some problems. The newer Ace 150/250's are good though. I have an Ace 250 and I like it alot. I would definitely gather up some opinions before spending money on that 300 to make sure.

stay away from the 300 it gets lousy depth and is hard to pinpoint with.get a 250.

I have one, bought it brand new in the box for 35 dollars...It works great, and as a back up it is great...See if you can get it a little cheaper, but i'd say go for it....
