I hooked up with tom76 in search of some Silver at an old park in Kirkland, the park looked real promising, first Signal 1935 wheat, this will be a good day!!...not . After that wheat I pulled about 15 Lincoln's and a few clad dimes, we moved on to a school and I got this arrow head pendant and blackcomb Mt's pin, sea fair is tomorrow and Traffic was a pain, but not as much pain as I felt today, I started at an elementary school pulled about $4.00 in clad and the junk ring. The Avon firebird bracelet was a nice surprise, Since I could not find anySilver or Gold rings I thought I would adventure over to my ever faithful Indian head lot, It started slow and the light rain felt good, after about 20 minutes I got my first wheat out of that lot, no date , it is very corroded, a remants of a button. Then a good 75 rings on the dfx, I dig my circle, reach in and owwwwwwwwwwwwww Blood squirting, not good, the hell with it, wipe my finger off my dirty jeans ( very clean and safe) reach in Slowly remove the dam glass that cut me then pull out this sweet silver, or silverplate spoon the back says KENSICO V , The Front has Clarks? any info would be greatly appreciated 80% of the old spoons I pull usually are Rogerbros, this is my first kensico V in ten years , well Ill take it as a silver, but still would A darn barber or v nickel , long story short wear gloves, I was Lucky I did not cut my finger off Happy Hunting

:-X :D Yeah, I can't say that's not happened to me before....Never liked gloves in the Summer...It's too dam hot for them here in the South. ALWAYS worn in the winter though ;D

The script on the spoon looked really familiar. Clarks Dairy here in New Haven CT. Has been a landmark for 70 years. It closed the dairy just a few months ago, but the restaurant remains open. This is a recent pic, but I remember the old trucks and the logo was just like your spoon. They were famous for their ice cream. (possible ice cream spoon) I don't know what it would be doing all the way in WA. but it's a possibility....Rich.

If you haven't had a tetanus shot recently, you probably should consider it.
