While hunting one of my old spots I found a geocache box! Haha...
Never even seen it till now. Never checked the woods in this local
for a long time. I found beside it a broken scraper/blade under a
fallen tree. A geocache is where people go to geocaching.com and
use gps to find a box full of goodies. What you do is replace
something you take. It was full of weird books. And also covered
in animal dookie. Finders also write in a journal. The oldest entry
was from 2006 and the newest was 8-9-08. The last pic shows
artifacts found close to the box on the left. The scrapers to the right
were found in a clear cut nearby. Have to check the clear cut seen a
lot of fire cracked rock with little light. These were located on a
ridge running a feeder creek to the Wabash river. What's funny is
that nobody even noticed the real treasure laying around. I wonder
if anybody will take notice?

Wow that's got to rank right up there with strangest finds. I've heard of geocaching but to actually stumble on to one has to be rare indeed. What kind of wierd books were in it?----By the way nice artifacts.

Great thinking
now you clued in everyone who comes in contact with that journal where you hunt artifacts BRILLIANT

I know, but it got bought by a water treatment plant, so pretty soon it's all gonna be fenced off anyways!

Yeah, why not? Still trying to find the cache
on the website. The label was written with
magic marker and the elements got to it
so any information was illegible.
