My husband found these on his business trip to Utah. Most of them are geodes, some look to be agates, but these are the ones that stand out due to their unique characteristics. I’d love to know more about them.

There’s one that looks as if there’s some kind of fungus growing on it, but my husband assures me that it’s part of the rock. There’s another one with rings that resemble petrified wood. There’s a lot of red coloring. There’s even some purplish hues. What all do I have?

Right? I’m so jealous that I wasn’t there. Someone on another thread said we’ve got some petrified wood with agate and quartz in them. One piece in particular, I thought was petrified wood. I didn’t realize we’ve got several pieces.
