George II Coppers, Silver

Got out today with The Patriot and a couple of fellows I hadn't met before to try for some colonial goodies. I managed a silver spoon, a silver thimble, a couple George II coppers, a few decent buttons and a 1904 Canadian large cent. Was a nice day with no bugs and a good breeze, and nice to meet a few new detectorists.

As long as you're digging the oldies anything can pop up !

Some if those relics saw better days, and I'm sure better days are ahead for you guys!

I swear I've had days where the bugs drink a pint of my blood, so when there's none I'll take it!

The hallmarks are quite worn, but I believe one is either SP or SF and another just looks like a dot inside a rectangle.

Yes was slim pickings but you still did good....hard to get sites that hold 4 diggers without the farmer starting to question you being there....the best is yet to come...

It was all in the same hole, broke when I took it out and the bowl part is so thin it broke further in my pocket.
