George Washington Inaugural Button

Does anyone have a rough estimate of what this button might be worth ? It was slightly bent when I found it and the shank is missing off the back . From everything I have read and pictures I have compared it to , it appears to be an original .

Brass or Pewter?

This example displays with a smooth, pleasing surface, the loveliest of original light chocolate patinas, and very sharp lettering and devices. It exhibits only the slightest of wear to the convex section bearing the script "GW" in center. The shank is missing, unfortunately, the only negative about this popular GW button design. There is also some soiling on both sides as well as some trivial verdigris, noted for accuracy. All in all a fine copy of Albert WI 4-A. Diameter 34mm.

But if it is brass then it is more then likely original in that condition i could see 1000 to 1500 dollars

Forgot to add , I had someone a while back tell me it might be in the 1000 to 1500 dollar range . I just wanted to get yall's opinion . Thanks .

the top one above went for 2000 at ebay auction it all depends who is at the aution house
