I found this about 15 years ago while hunting in Early county Georgia. I believe it was a gorget. It has two holes drilled into it. The piece is very shiny when held in the light, like glittering gold. It is 2 1/4 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide. On the edge of the piece between the hole and where the other hole used to be is very smooth. If I hold it in the center, my thumb and forefinger fit perfectly in the groove between there. Can anyone tell me what it might be made of?

Cool. Thats what it looks like to me. I would be interested in the type of stone. I usually take unusal stone types to a Geologist at a college, myself.
