I watched this one and some others. Those tanks seem to be in very good shape despite being under watery ground for 60 years.

This was the turf. He makes good conservation.
 
Was someone in? Seen pics from the recovery of a Stormovik out of turf. The pilot was still in his seat and looked like a bog man. This was on a russian forum i never found again, with many pics from recoveries. Also pics from death valley near leningrad. Do You know this forum??

In Russia there are many sites that focus on a military search. :coffee2:
 
Wow! can't believe how good of shape that tank is in after all these years in that bog! Is it going to be restored, and placed on display?

It will be restored and placed in a museum.
 
Absolutely fascinating, I'd love to recover a tank. Of course I'll bet it costs way too much to import one. I hope the remains of the soldiers were given a proper reburial......
 
I would love to be the first one in the hatch!!
 
It`s not a Tank , it`s a "Stug" a" Sturmgeschuetz ", aka a tank hunter .
