Hello everyone,

I was helping a friend clean out the home of a WWII veteran and we found boxes of Nazi items that he brought back. Most of the other stuff was easily identified, but this lantern has thrown me for a loop. I have done research, but could not find the maker or a lamp like this one. Could anyone help me identify this lantern? Is it military? Approx value? There was another lantern that we found that was marked with the Luftwaffe eagle and Swastika along with a date of 1939, so I assume that both lanterns are military. Thanks!

'DR' = 'Deutsche Reichsbahn'
It was property of the german railways.

Reichsban is correct. These were used at small train stations. Nice catch.
