Ghost town locations in google earth?

hey guys,

I had come across a site that had the actual locations of ghost towns (coordinates) that you could punch in to google earth...cant seem to find it anymore. Does anyone know where I can find such things?

Try Ghost Towns and History of the American West You can select your state and it will give you a good bit of info. Use that info and look it up on Wikipedia which will give GPS lat/lon.

The highlighted link only shows the more popular ghost towns. Worse, some of the locations listed aren't anywhere near where they say they are. As for the list for New Mexico, I've been to 7 of them, and I should have saved my time and energy. I've been to two that are not on the list, and have had better luck, but nothing to write home about.
