giant mathusalem bottle found

I don't know anything about bottles but this bugger is huge about 23 inches tall. I am assuming it was a champagne bottle because it is VERY thick (1/2 inch at opening). Markings on bottom are MATHUSALEM 1.6 than a O with a V thru it. Its a dark green,no label. Found it cleaning out a old home that a friend had bought to flip. Anyone know if there is any collectors value in these monsters or they just conversation pieces. The thing is pretty darn heavy and almost my entire hand fits in the dent in the bottom. I know if you collect these things you would ave to have a pretty huge display case.
