I bought these at a yard sale years ago, recently "dug" them out of storage..any ideas on their age?..value?..I think I paid 8 dollars for them.

Don't know but they sure are pretty cool. Ill give you 8 bucks for em.

The lids have plastic inserts around them, or are they ground?
