Hi all,
Thats what the a friend of mine said about his yard.He only found a penny a few years ago and was sure he hit it good. The house is only from the 50's but good still yield some good ol silver.I started in the back and started to think he was right as I only turned up 2 clad cents, but they dated 1960 and 62 so there was promise for the front yard.My first coin in the front was a wheatie and I am like here we go!After a clad or 2 another 2 wheats come up,then get that quarter reading at 5 in and sure enough a nice 1960 silver quarter!Another wheat or 2 mixed in with some clad and a 64 rosie near the sidewalk and finished the silver run with a 1940 silver quarter.I totaled 21 coins with 6 being wheats and 3 silver coins. You gotta love those hunted out sites!

WTG!
I've found that alot of land owners use that same line "it's been hunted before" because they don't know how to say no and I always insist that they didn't get it all and I want to try anyway.
Good thing you did!
Dave.

No area can ever be hunted out. First you cannot cover 100% of an area especially at a good depth. Most detectors still have a reverse cone pattern that gets smaller at the deepest part. Detectors get better all the time. And conditions certainly do change.

Good to hear from you BR and very nice finds, congrats on the silver! I'm going over some fields for the third time and pulling up some nice relics and little trash. Thank goodness the long winter is over. HH, Mike

Nice finds bigrig, I bet your friend was envious that he had missed the silver. ;)

Sure, it's been hunted before. NOT! It hasn't been hunted at all if it hasn't been hunted by Bigrig and Knorrski! great job Bigrig, good to hear from you!

BR,

Nice finds!! We want to know what the friend had to say.

HH ;)

WTG BR, machine, weather conditions and operator, so many variables to consider. My rule of thumb is "you'll never find it all".

Way to go BigRig.....glad to hear that you hit some great silver! I'm so jealous >:(
Keep up the good work!

Happy Hunting,
Moon
