Hello, :hello:

I have some wood to hunt that have real old trails. :o Should I use the 4x6 DD or the 12x15 SEF or even the stock 9.5 ? ??? I'm worried about loosing depth with the 4x6 on top of 3 inches of leaves. :icon_scratch: The big coil I'm worried about not having any room to swing. :dontknow: What do you guys think I should use ?? ???

Keep @ it and HH !! ;D :D

Since the area you are working seems confined, I would go with the 9.5 for the best results. You may also want to take into consideration the length of the trail you are working. If the trail is not that long, you may want to go even smaller to the 4.6. The largest coil of course will give you the most ground coverage, but since you may be restricted that would be of little value. That's my take ;D

Well from what you describe, I'd start with the 9.5 and change up or down depending on how that works. In my own case I'd probably use the 6X10 to start, but you didn't mention that one.

Pick an area about 20' X 20' that you know has some finds...first use the small coil then switch to the larger...

Which picked up the most?

Depth?

Knock yourself out...
