I looked through the items. I would keep the axe heads. One appears to be an older design and the other somewhat more recent (like late 1800s). The older one probably has no marks on it but I would check the area one each side near the butt (poll) for a maker's mark. Some light grinding or sanding and steel wooling might reveal it.

VTSwinger, please post a side view picture of the find with the slot at 6 o'clock in the last picture. The find next to the hame in the second to last picture looks like the bowl of a spoon.

Am I right to assume the older axe head is the one with the more unique opening? It kind of flares out more. Picture 6.

That axe head flares out from being used as a wedge and being hammered on.
Your third picture looks like a piece of a cast iron pot/cauldron

Yes, the flared one appears older to me. I think I can see a seam on the top where the blade was hammer-welded on, in the old way. The other seems to be one piece, like it was made in a factory. But those are just impressions from the photos. I could be wrong.
