Going MDing in San Antonio

I'm going detecting around San Antonio on my next day off. Anyone have any ideas on where I should head?

I read on another forum that is local to Houston, that the Bexar County commissioners had recently banned all detectors in county parks and the city has some sort of permit system. The County claimed they were worried about some archeological discovery being made. Total BS!!

County parks are off limits to detectors. Only some city parks need a permit. Somewhere on line is a list. Parks have pretty much been gone over. Private property has not. Need to ask permission. There are still some interesting areas, but you need to search for them...
