In spite of the hot weather here there were a few sales this weekend. I was able to score this 14 karat gold Accutron but was surprised to find it had a Caliber 247 quartz movement. i’m actually happy since tuning forks are a pain in the butt. Coincidentally the date on the watch is my 5th birthday.

I also picked up some art this weekend. This M. Billington cowboy framed oil painting .
This Isabel Saul hand colored etching. I don’t know how everyone missed it other than they may have looked up Isabel Paul instead. To quote pretty woman “mistake, big mistake”.
And the final is this wonderful Elmer Tomasch oil on paper mid century painting.
I paid 100 bucks for everything and it was well worth it! Funny thing is the day started off awful and all the picks were after 10 o’clock. Here is another great etching I picked up a few weeks ago and I’m not sure if I listed it or not but it’s by Edith Dessie Nillson or Willson. I can’t seem to find anything on her but the draftsman ship of this etching is superb so I have to believe she was a listed artist.
And one last one I picked up a few weeks ago that I like. It is a tonalist watercolor painting of the Youngstown Ohio mill by WJ Gephart.
I’d love to keep them all but they have to go so onto eBay we go.
