Went to a sports field today the ground was pretty frozen. The first dig was the junk ring and I bent it pretty badly because the ground was frozen so hard. I debated leaving and going to the beach and play in the sand but decided to stick with the field and try the taller grass along the edges. It was a good idea. The ground wasn't as frozen there. First dig was a penny next was a 10k ring with 10 diamond chips weighs 6 grams. I was ready to find more but only found $1.77 in clad, the junk love necklace, and a soccer pin. 3 hours later I was cold and went home. Will be the last time in the dirt unless it warms up, too hard to dig.
