GOLD , clad & a lot of trash ! Ring #32 for the year

Well work is slow this week and the weather is just right for hunting ! I got out this morning for a two hour hunt at a local park . This park has a huge soccer field and has given up silver in the past . I thought today I would go for the GOLD ! I dug almost every solid VDI from +10 to +90 and it payed off . I got a strong +20 at two inches about an hour and a half in . Pulled back the plug and I saw beautiful GOLD ! It is a 10K with three small diamonds , ring #32 for the 2012 .Total clad was $5.89 and a whole lot of trash . Hope to go back tomorrow and try again !

Glad to see you posting the trash pile. When I first started, I was trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. I wasn't getting but a few good targets and mountains of trash. I came to realize that was the norm and most posts only reflected the "pick of the litter" so to speak. Lunch today was no exception. 35 holes, 33 pieces of metallic trash and 2 lincoln memorials. Thanks for the reality check from the king of rings.

I have had a few people ask me to post the trash . I wish I knew how much trash I have dug up in the past 14 years . It is worth it
