All Treasure Hunting
It been over 5 years since my last post. Since then i have had 2 beautiful babies Lulu and Peyton. I havnt been able to get out much with work and the family.

2 weeks ago we had some crazy swells on the caribbean feom the north eastern that hot the east coastand i took my 5 year old daughter out for a snorkel to treasure hunt with daddy. Lulu was able to spot a 25c ec coun from the 1950’s. Guess she has it in her blood. We found a lot of copper spikes a few cannonballs( left these on site) some buttons, musket balls and some coins. Just about to get out and found the cuff links. We were only out for about 1 hour.

So i rushed home to get the kids to take a nap and my wife let me go right back out to look some more. Found more toasted coins and some buttons and the silver coin as i was heading back.

Please excuse the photo quality, but on the silver coin its 16.1 mm on one side i can see liberty and some stars with the flowing hair. On the back side i can make out united and America it does have the wheat and can barley make out the eagles wings. Really have to move it around to see any of the details.

The rubbing helped a little to id it.

Wish it was in better shape.

There was a 1760’s shipwreck close to the site and i have found a good bit of spanish coins on the shores.

It was a great weekend and being able to go out with my duaghter was amazing.

Those cufflinks are amazing man. And to have found them with your daughter is priceless. I detect with my little ones (4 and 7), and personally find it the best time I can spend on anything. Add good finds and that’s the stuff dreams are made of.

Major congrats again on the flowing hair and links!

Did you eyeball all of that stuff?

Well, I know where I am suggesting to the wife for our next vacation!

Lol, 6 replies on this incredible post. Amazing cufflinks and coin. Is that a top part of a seal top spoon too?

What are those two identical thinks at the bottom right of the first picture? Reminds me of those slave bracelets, I think they're called manilas or manillas?

I recently found my first gold coin but I would have preffered to find those early gold links

WOW!! Amazing finds!! Congrats!

Just WOW!:o Amazing and rare finds from the beach. Lasting memories with the daughters of some REAL treasures! SWEET!:headbang:

Definitely a 1795 Flowing hair HALF dime (you can see the 5 of the date in the rubbing). Not too many people can say they've found one of those.

Those gold cufflinks are crazy too!

These are some incredible finds! Those gold links would be a dream find for most. Any relic that early that’s made of gold is top shelf. Throw in that flowing hair and you’ve got an incredible grouping of finds.

Killer finds, congratulations! :occasion14:

Awesome finds! That cuff-link is simply amazing!
