gold filled / plated need to know differences

I have a lot of jewelry that is gold filled or plated. I want to get an auction up with it all in one lot. I know the difference between plated and filled. However, some stuff says, 1/20 14K and others say 12KGF. Does it make a difference if it says 1/10, 1/20, 1/50 in front of the carat filled? Is filled better than plating? Would I want to pull out the ones that say 14KGP?

Thanks. The comments were actually better than the article! They clearly explained about the 1/10 vs 1/20 vs 1/50. I totally forgot that the smaller the denominator, the bigger the amount. this was very very helpful to me.
