I picked up some deep yellow ear rings that look high karat to me. Does anyone recognize this mark? ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1432826858.839941.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1432826910.829370.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1432826936.742497.webp

Research says read Egyptian marks left to right. So I think it says makers mark then 21 then G. So 21KT? What do you think?ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1432843853.940419.webp

Left to right would be 12K, wouldn't it?

Well it turns out the earrings flunked the acid test and were not gold. :( Thanks

Roller Coaster rides come with all kinds of jewelry finds. Don't forget that some costume jewelry earrings have solid karat gold on the earring wires....

I got to stop trying to make things out of nothing.

Jimdon - that earring looks pretty good to me just based on tone and construction. I would double check it.

I agree. Test for 10k though, like I said, I read it as 12K, not 21K.

I tried 10kt and it dissolved after a few minutes. Thank you
