Gold Mark Help

I picked up some deep yellow ear rings that look high karat to me. Does anyone recognize this mark?

Research says read Egyptian marks left to right. So I think it says makers mark then 21 then G. So 21KT? What do you think?

Left to right would be 12K, wouldn't it?

I agree. Test for 10k though, like I said, I read it as 12K, not 21K.

I tried 10kt and it dissolved after a few minutes. Thank you
