While most of you search with your detectors.. I simply use my eye sight.. I guess as I must watch where I'm walking due to tripping concerns.. But this mornings walk turned up this gold looking 1919 (to hard to tell with some sort of residue on the Native american side)
After doing some searching.. they did make a few gold Buffalo Nickels but only recently.. more searching reveals that this was part of a gold layered cuff link set..
Because I later located the bent up bezel which housed the gold layers coin.. Seeing how I'm not a coin collector.. and I have a two other coins, I'm willing to send to anyone willing to forward a self addressed/return label mailer to me.
