1850 to 1910 this style of pin and hook were used . Short pin starting in 1850 then moving to a longer pin later on to keep from loosing your item .
There is no stamp . Gold required no stamp before 1906 . I know it is gold. It weighs 0.6 grams. Probably 10k so the gold itself is not real valuable but what is it worth as a pre 1906 gold pin ? Pin works and it seems attached very well .
