Gold pin ???

Got it at Garage sale - $5 bucks. Like the design and small stone on the site of it.
When I got home I test it - WOW 12K gold over 8 grams.
Any idea what it is - how much is worth

Looks like a Tie Tack to me. Also the initial Mc and the green stone and the style looks a little Celtic, so could
be Irish or Scottish in nature.

Looks like an emerald stone to me hence the Irish connection.

I also thought McCormick brand logo right when I saw it. Maybe some kind of service pin? 10 year, 25 year, etc
