Gold Plated Walker

I had not found anything interesting in a long time, but found this Gold Plated 1945 Walking Liberty half in today's box. Nice thick gold plating, makes it look like one of those chocolate coins,

I've found a few chrome-plated Walkers; but none gold-plated.

My mother was given a gold plated walker a while back. I don't recall the year... Hers looks like it was fairly warn before being plated. Certainly not something you see every day!

I've found quite a few gold plted coins but none were silver. Cool, lucky you.
