I had a chance to get out and try out the Makro Gold Racer and the 5x7 eliptical coil. I headed out to a new area for this season that ive been wanting to try up north. The smoke from a nearby forest fire made my eyes burn alittle but didnt stop the little coil from detecting some gold. It performs well in all metal mode and is very loud and sharp on even the tiniest pieces. It also was quite a iron junk mess in most of the area from the old timers tin can piles. The eliptical coil was able to snipe out good targets right out of the iron mess. It also fits nicely under bushes and between rocks. All in all I had a good time with the gold racer and its new attachment. Finished the day with 16 pcs for 2.5 dwt. Good luck
