Hi all ! :)

This is my best gold ring till now !!

Fine gold and with initials and the year 1792.

It was laying right on the surface.
Here "in Situ", do you see it ?

That's a pretty neat surface find :icon_sunny:

Must have been found in a field. That 1792 ring laying there looks like it was just lost yesterday.

Yes, IronSpike, it was found in a field !

The field is one of many near an old trade town at the sea, dating back to 1250.

A lot of different things were transported from the town with the human and animal waste and spred out on the fields.
I have found a lot in those fields, especially finds dating after 1600.

 :coffee2:

You guys across the pond have some awesome hunting sites

Noticed the pic where the ring is resting on a flint point. Over here we find Indian arrowheads/points. Reckon your finds are stone age.

Yes we have a lot of stone age here. Mostly neolithicum around 4000-2000 BC.

I definitely think that should be a banner find...
