Hi everyone,
It has been a while since I have posted. I’ve only managed to get out and detect 4 times in the last 4-5 months and I loved every minute of it! These finds are from those 4 trips. As usual I detected a gold rush cabin site and the nearby trail (1850's - 1930s). Yesterday it was getting dark and I was checking an area just off of the old trail and I got a good signal. It turned out to be a gold rush era buckle wreath! Next out of the ground was the belt keeper followed by the buckle tongue. It’s in great condition for being stamped brass and in the ground for roughly 160 years. During previous trips I found a small powder tin and lid, an 1895 S quarter, an eagle button with W Lang Boston on the back, a stirrup, an old padlock with key(broken) and a bent up cast brass buckle wreath. Thanks for looking and good luck out there.

Not sure if the fixed blade knife is old or not
