Metal Detecting
I metal detected a park in a town with a rich history of Civil War activity. Supposedly the park is the site of where the founder of the town landed with the Swiss on a ship. I found this watch that looks to be gold. It's pretty heavy but there are no markings on it. I guess it could be gold plated, not really sure. Also found this other metal object, looks like an old tool or something. Can anybody help me identify if this watch is gold?
