Hey gang,
Wasn't going to post for a few days but couldn't hold my horses.
The day before yesterday I was at Pere Marquette Park and while metal detecting the playground areas I noticed that there were 6 or 8 beach volleyball games going on. They were still playing when I had to leave. Well as I was lying in bed thinking about the day I just couldn't pass up the opportunity of heading out there in the morning. I envisioned tons of coins and jewelry flying off all those volleyballers!
Well I was a little disappointed. From 9:30 to 2:00 all I found were 1 silver toe ring, 1 Sac dollar, 6 quarters, 3 nickels, 1 dime and 15 pennies. The toe ring is 925. The sand seemed to be quite noisy and the signals were choppy, tried several different settings on the M6 but the choppyness remained.
So I tried several other parks...the second to last park produced the gold band. It is a small size, probably a girls, I don't see any markings on it but it is heavy! I'm reasonably sure its gold. Hope the pictures meet with your approval. HH...Bob
