During my first hunt of 2016 I was approached by a couple taking a walk. They told me that during Thanksgiving 2015 the Husband had lost his wedding band on the sidelines of the local high school football field. They asked if I thought I could find it with my metal detector and I told them I'd give it a try next weekend weather permitting. The weather was supposed to get cold and the ground was going to freeze so I wasn't too sure if I'd be able to. However as luck would have it, we had several inches of rain and the weather warmed up and I gave it a go. I got rained on, muddied up, and nearly blown away by the wind, but after 2 hours of searching, and many many pull tabs and pieces of aluminum scrap, I was able to find the ring, still right there on the surface!! A phone call and 10 minutes later the ring was in the hands of its owner! An awesome day for me! Enjoy the video and the pics.
