Posts like this make me celebrate every time I dig a pull tab! I love playing in the trash! Now, I just need to find some gold.

Thanks for sharing.

The more trash you dig in the gold range the better your chances. It’s somewhat easier at the beach since the waves/surf sometimes classifieds them by weight. I say sometimes because there’s been times where I’m digging quarters, nickels and pennies within inches from each other and you can tell they aren’t fresh drops. Good luck

Sweet Gold, great job! :occasion14:

Hey, Racso.....good point, my friend -- getting ready to go to one of the oldest beaches in FLORIDA in a few days & I dig EVERYTHING and it is wise to dig larger "iron" targets that can be very, very OLD that masks deep gold targets - Maybe you already do this but a lot of very small gold bands both 10K & 14K and above read only 10-12-14 & 18 VDI on my MX-5 that reads 81-83 for clad quarters, 84-85 for silver quarters and 74-76 for 90% copper cents & 76-77 for clad dimes & 78-79 for silver dimes and very accurate at very good depths --- but with that said it is ALWAYS best to dig everything on good old beach's like we have in FLORIDA - THANKS & Good Luck.....BILL
