Goldish plain ring band says India

Very light and no other markings. A magnet wont pick it up but my detector goes wild. Any ideas?

Hmmm,

What is very light ? Any idea how much it weighs exactly? India loves Gold, more so than most any country !! Its a major upper-class status symbol !! Generally their gold is High Karat and very nice and this ring looks like it. However, high Karat gold is very heavy. I'd get it acid tested for sure, no doubt !!

I would have it tested some of the stuff from India is VERY high gold content. It could also be brass, never know.
