Gone to the beech .. so to speak.

This morning was shrouded in a light fog, but a ray of sunshine was peaking through an opening and illuminating a beech tree that hasn't dropped its leaves from last fall.
The photo doesen't really capture the brilliance of it, but the tree looked like a tree of gold.

Pretty. I didn't know beech trees held on to their leaves. I played around with the photo a bit and came up with this.
