Goochland Questions

Howdy everyone! Has anyone ever detected around Goochland? My father lives there and has some access to land. I know it has an early history.

Never hunted there but I did a quick search of the Official Civil War record and got about 100 references for "Goochland". That's enough for me to want to hunt there.

On the James could be really good. I've hunted along the James river down in Surry county (VA) and dug colonial, CW, and modern items on the same land. Plenty of history down there.
