Yesterday was a hell of a nice day + 8

So I took advantage of it and detected my heart out.
the first location was at some old ruins.
only found the Dog charm.
lots of iron and trash.
we4 will go back when we have more time.
the next location was an old pk.
found the 1917 and the 1920 silver nickel and silver dime. and some wheat's and king George Penny's.
at the next location i dug the rest. the lg US cent was a nice surprise.
Overall a good day spent with some good friends.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/1375456/TheHermyJan12.jpg.

I sure like your finds. I dream of finding a large cent. WTG

Don, I'm liking what you're posting. Keep it up.

Good and plenty indeed!

Awesome finds Don!

;)

Nice day Don. Any time you get a large cent is a good day. You guys have a nice spot to hunt there. I would hit the area so hard there wouldn't be a target left for the next hunters.

Hey Don, That would be so cool to find old US and Canadian Coins at the same site. We find canadian pennies fairly often but they are not even a King George(newer coins). Anyway Very Sweet! 8)

Thats a great large cent Don. Congrats! Tsgman

I live in Mississauga Ontario( next to Toronto ) and in 5 years of detecting, I have found 6 large US cents, One I even Found at my cottage in Quebec.
We seem to find at least 30% of the coins we find are US coinage.
I always enjoy finding the older US ones.
Canada never had their Own coinage, until late in the 1800s ( just tokens ) so the older coins seem to be US, or British.

Great looking LC, and the rest ain't too shabby either, Congrats...
That's the second button I've seen this week with another material in it beside just being metal.
I wonder who will find the next one, ???
Good luck, & Happy hunting~
