Good Dive Today, Just not Great. Water is Warming Up!

Went out with two of my diving friends today. Now there are 4 of us. No gold for me but Craig found a 1961 10K class ring. Jason found the oldest coin a 1900 Barber half.

I got stuck with 3 Washington's two merc's and a rosey. A couple of wheat's and two junk rings. Token is a maveric. Liberty Bell good for 5¢ in trade.

I got a complete Roy Rogers cap pistol. Unfortunately it is in 4 pieces. I left the junk in my truck.

Starting to pick up a bit. Tomorrow hitting two marina's. A waterproof camera in one, glasses and sunglasses in another. Then hitting a lake or river I think.

I am busier this year than I have been other years. Looks to be a fun summer.

Yes, I believe it has helped a lot. My business cards being out there and all the marina's close to me know me and what I do. I am also on a popular boaters website in the area and people contact me on it. I hope to keep finding things for boaters. I don't charge. They give me what they want and it is working out fine.

Throughout my youth I lived off the docks and in water... This is how I made my summer "extra"... Then throughout my teens when I had my own dive gear and did hull bottom scraping...

I have retrieved everything from jewelry to whole damn purses for people.

MOST of em tipped... but some just said thanks. heh

Nothing like getting a soggy 20 or more from a retrieved wallet.

ALOT of keys retrievals... sheesh.

My other side "thing" at the marinas was helping people get into their locked cars in the marina parking lot after locking the keys in...

My best friend in those times was my rusty coat hanger. :P

Which was also ood for a solid 20... which is what I would say... "locked your keys in ? I can get in for 20 or you can call pop a lock and wait and pay 50" :P

Between flipping burgers and dogs... and watching hot chicks in nothing all day... I was in the lots popping locks for people.

After work... finding crapola.

Most of the chicks on Nokomis are in their 90s <grin>. I did manage a Nokomis beach silver ring in January.
