Good luck in nickels and skunk on 1/2s

Beginning to wonder if ordering 1/2s in my area is worth the trouble. Tried getting them from two different places who have their own vaults. $1000 worth and nothing but clad and many, many coins had been marked with a marker. GRRRR>

Had much better luck with just $100 worth of nickels. Got 4 war nickels, two 42's and two 43's and a nice 1911 V back. HH to all.

Someone from Az posted something interesting to this point..... Many people who live in FL have moved there from somewhere else and don't have their years worth of accumulated stuff because they get rid of it before they move.

When I was on vacation in FL, I did some CRHing, and didn't get a darn thing. $650 i halves from the fed, and not even a 40%er.

Humm, not good. In speaking with local coin dealer, who has been buying up most of the stuff coin roll hunters have been bringing him, I learned that those folks are coming up empty also. yuk.
