Garrett ace 350, bounty hunter lone star pro, whites trx pinpointer, Garrett ace 400, Garrett pro pointer 2, Garrett AT gold

I'm in Tuscon Arizona today. I was swinging the detector which was exciting enough . But I was picking up signals that wasn't there even my pinpointer was picking it up I use an ace 400 I can't ground balance but could that have been gold or just minerals

Sound like you are dealing with EMF in the area. Any underground or over head power lines?

That usually does it.

I don't know about underground but no power lines above me well at least where I was detecting
 

Try turning down the sensitivity. If you are still having problems pretty sure there are underground power lines that are affecting your detector.

Could be highly iron/mineralized infested soil. Like waterscoop stated all you can do is adjust sensitivity down.
 

I know Terry Solomon is familiar with the ground balance in Arizona but until he checks in,, turn down the sensitivity.
Congrats on getting out.
