Good Week For Change

Hi all,
I work part time at a convenience store which allows me to see lots of change.I have received hundreds of wheaties and lots of silver over the last few years.This week was very good in that i got 2 silver quarters,1 1964 kennedy and 1 40% kennedy and 1 dateless buffalo in a coin roll.I think the main reason i keep this job is for the coin huntin! in the last 2 years i have saved over 1450 old and foreign coins. peace,bigrig

I fully understand what it's like to find old change coming through a customer's change. I work for a retail chain here in MI and have a friend who works in the accounting office and with both of us on the lookout for silver and wheaties, we have managed some NICE finds. One of the best was an 1861 Confederate penny last summer found in the coin roll machine. Not sure if it's authentic, but a nice find indeed!

Nice easy finds. Like I said in one of my replies yesterday, times are getting hard out here and people are spending there collections of coins.
